Edge of Dawn

Edge of Dawn is the eleventh book of the Midnight Breed series authored by Lara Adrian. It is a romance fiction, romantic fantasy, paranormal romance, and romantic suspense novel written by the New York Times, USA Today, Wall Street Journal, and #1 internationally recognized bestseller of multiple novels. She has sold over 4 million copies and her books can be found in more than 20 countries. If you’re searching for her other stuff, check out Fall of Night. You may also like Ashes of Midnight.

Hillary Huber was fine as the narrator of the book. Even though the main characters were described as warriors in the book, she made them out to be teenagers. The sing-song theme of her performance proved to be a bit distracting from the overall experience.

Mankind had learned the secret of vampires; that they existed secretly among them. Twenty years after the terror of the First Dawn, the threat of violence is at its peak. The two species are struggling for power. The only group dedicated to the preservation of harmony is an elite cadre of Breed Warriors known as the Order.

Mira has always believed in the warrior code. The only thing she desires more than the acceptance of the Order is Kellan. Kellan didn’t think he’d see Mira again. He leads a band of rebels after abandoning the Order. When they are once again face-to-face, they must decide which side they’re on. That could be the last chance they have.

Lara has published another great book and she has introduced us to two amazing characters in Mira and Kellan. It was also a nice touch that she incorporated the Original Order.
