Live to Tell

Detective D.D. Warren has become a sensation over the years with every gripping story about his missions. Most of the stories that Lisa Gardner has created are related to the fictional world and it is seldom we notice that Warren is confronting forces related to the human world. There are fairies and the creatures which we call the undead in the stories. Warren is always one step ahead of all of them and this time he wanted to be in the same position but the task goes a little big and out of control. Case of four murders serve as a starter and there is an issue i.e whether the case is of suicide or murder the police just cannot tell. The only survivor is still in the ICU and if he is saved he would be able, to tell the truth about the scenario. Next is the issue connected to Danielle Burton who looks scared because she saw something really wild twenty-five years ago and she thinks that the time has come for history to repeat itself. If the history repeats then Burton is sure that no one would be safe at all.

The third character with a tragedy linked to her is Victoria who is worried about the fate of her only son. She is not worried about the world rather she keeps on thinking about the safety of her boy. Warren looks tense in this situation; however, the listener does not get confused because there are three narrators to tell the tale i.e Kirsten Potter, Ann Marie Lee, and Rebecca Lowman. Before She Disappeared and The Other Daughter was linked to one case and this book has a connection with three characters. Also, we go into the past too for the sake of truth when these three victims think about their past lives.
