SILENT PREY

Throughout their career, Lucas Davenport has made many warm enemies and the list just goes on and on without any hindrance. Author John Sandford has not described Lucas Davenport as a ruthless killer so whenever he catches a criminal alive he just hands it over to the law. After that Lucas does not interfere in the issues of the court and other things like that. The criminals who are caught by Davenport don’t think in the same way as they think that it is Davenport who made them encaged prisoners. So they just keep on thinking about taking revenge on this highly ranked investigator.

One of such criminals was caught in a previous episode and his name was Bekker. Bekker was a pathologist apparently but in reality, he used to remain busy treating his patients like lab rats. For years Bekker continued in the same manner and then Davenport got the hint of his bad deeds and he brought Bekker to justice. When Bekker was arrested he said to Davenport that he should have killed him when he had the chance.

Now during his time in prison, Bekker has thought of only one thing i.e to take revenge from the person who caught him in the first place. Richard Ferrone narrates the character of a sick criminal here who knows nothing except pain.

Creator of Certain Prey and Ocean Prey has taken pain to a different level in this installment. Even Davenport wants to cry out loud when he confronts the demon a second time. This time Bekker has planned perfectly and he knows that Davenport is coming after him so he is well equipped.
