The Series comes to its trilogy with this book written by Alexey Osadchuk and narrated by Derek Shoales. Eric was sure about his past, he was told everything about his brother and what happened to him in the forest. Problem is that now Eric realizes that all of those things that were told to him were based on pure lies. Eric was not like the other people around him, he was not different rather his condition was pathetic.
He was in a cursed form because of which no one liked coming closer to him and Eric thought that he deserved all that. Then he started using his deformed appearance to his advantage and made a few good friends too. Going to orcish was a plan which the team made to run away from Master Chi’s Hive. When they went through the forest during their journey Eric came to know many things about his past.
His brother never got lost in the forest he never came to the forest also Eric’s appearance was not like that because of the gods. Only Showdown and The Wastes can match the brilliance of this part. It is all about the revelation of truth in this part which changes Eric’s life forever.
The boy understands himself and his powers in a better way, he also understands that he can be of great help to the people of the land. No listener can leave this book in the middle because of the curiosity which it arouses in the mind and heart. All of us want to know more about Eric’s fate which is discussed quite slowly.
