THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO

The case takes place forty years back in the story and the author Stieg Larsson after telling us about the past, brings us to the present. However the past is brought to life again and again during the investigation which Mikael Blomkvist and Lisbeth Slander start. Forty years ago Harriet was abducted and since then no sign of her is ever found by the police or her wealth family. The old uncle wants to know the truth about the abduction of the little girl that took place decades ago. The man is of the opinion that the girl was not abducted rather she was killed and no one tried to look into the matter very seriously.

Simon Vance has kept the main focus on the tattooed girl during the narration. Lisbeth happens to be wonderful hacker and she can outclass anyone in the game that’s why she is hired along with the journalist who too has some hidden skills. When the two start looking deeper in the things they get surprised because the apparently cool and compact family seem to have many secrets which they have been trying to bury for many years. With new revelations the investigation takes new directions at every step.

The story is not easy to understand and those listeners who have not listened to complex thrillers before would tend to get confused a little. The only way to eradicate the confusion is to listen to this fantastic story completely. The Girl Who Played with Fire and The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet’s Nest are there to enjoy and each page of these books have a special fragrance. Don’t allow your attention to divert at something else while listening to the story because you will lose the fun.
