The Golden Tresses of the Dead

Alan Bradley comes yet again, and this time with the final novel of the highly enthralling Flavia de Luce Mysteries novel series. He made up his prime character, Flavia grow up in quality and congeniality, like never before.

You would definitely fall in love with the concluding novel of the series, which has all the ingredients to be the best mystery novel. The narration like all the prequels of this series is done yet again by Jayne Entwistle in a very refreshing tone with great feelings and emotions.

It is autumn season at its peak in Bishop’s Lacey town. The chapel is entirely covered with some exotic flowers.

Ophelia, sister of Flavia is finally getting hitched. Flavia was never a normal type of a 12 years old girl. She at that age was an expert in chemistry with great know-how of poisons. She in her tender age has already solved multiple crime mysteries with her sharp detective skills.

Flavia along with the Buckshaw estate gardener, Dogger setup a shop and was quite eager to serve. But both Dogger and Flavia de Luce continued, despite having a lot of resistance in their work.

They had little to no idea that their very first case would be very much close to their own home. This all begin with the discovery of a human finger in the wedding cake of Ophelia.

The Weed That Strings the Hangman’s Bag is a highly admirable novel by the author, which makes this mystery crime thriller an absolute gem. Moreover, The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie is another splendid attempt by Alan Bradley in crime mystery genre, which makes it a must read/ listen as well.
