The Lost Girls

The Lost Girls is a true story of the abductions in Cleveland. It is also a story about the incredible rescue operation of the same three abducted girls. It is written by John Glatt. John is a British American writer. His work mainly revolves around writing biographies of the true-crime thrilling books, just like the subject title. He also writes other types of nonfiction. One of his books about a true story of a family and its struggle is worth having a go at. The name of the book is The Family Next Door. You may also check Playing with Fire which is a tale about a nurse, her better-half, and a wedding that turned horrific.

Shaun Grindell is the narrator of this book. He gave a satisfactory performance and the audience had no issues with it.

The Lost Girls is an amazing true story of Gina DeJesus, Amanda Berry, and Michelle Knight. All three of the women were kidnapped and kept in prison. They were all brutally beaten and raped in confinement at a house in Cleveland. This went on happening for one whole decade. The person behind this crime was Ariel Castro. Then, finally, the great escape happened in 2013. That made headlines all over the world. The audiobook also comes with a special interview with the secret girlfriend of Castro. She spent many nights in that horror house without knowing that three girls are imprisoned there.

The book is good. The writer of a good job especially in giving a good account of the background of Castro and also the victims. The timelines of the events were also shared that helped in building the story together.
