The Search for the Green River Killer

The Search for the Green River Killer is a true crime story of a serial killer. This memoir is written by Carlton Smith and Tomas Guillen. Carlton Smith is full time involved with the writing of different true crime memoirs that brings some horrifying incidents from the past. Dying for Daddy is one such type where the incident was a nightmare for an entire family. Fatal Charm is another crime story by Carlton where the serial killer was after wives. These true crime stories are not for the faint-hearted but if you can handle it then these books would give you a good time.

Keith Sellon-Wright might make a good choice as a narrator for some other, probably fictional novels. But, he is certainly not a good choice for such nonfiction crime stories. It was a flat and a flop performance by Keith.

During the decades of 1980 and 1990s, as many as 49 women were brutally murdered in Seattle. Their dead bodies were chucked along the Pacific Highway and the Green River near the Washington State. An exhaustive investigation was carried but the killer was not found. The serial killer (found later) was known as Gary Ridgway. He managed to elude the police and investigators for 20 long years. He was finally caught in 2001 through the DNA evidence.

The book is quite detailed and truthful. You will love to know the story that is beautifully written by Carlton. If you are first time with a true crime book then it might not be a suitable choice for you. It is because of its monotonous nature and it is also very heavy on facts.
