THE SPACE BETWEEN

Walsh family has a history that goes back to three generations and after the death of his father Patrick is given the charge to take care of the things. Preservation of the historical building was something which was not very difficult for Patrick because it happens to be one of his main passions.

This time the job was big and a detailed work was needed so he hired an apprentice for help. Getting Andy as an apprentice was never something which Patrick has hoped for in the past. Andy was an interesting sort of a lady and she was quite interested in the thing or perhaps the word obsessed was the right word for her passion linked to her job.

There was another thing linked to her personality i.e she was attractive and she captured Patrick’s heart from the first day. Patrick didn’t have to guide her at anything because she was better than him by all means. It scared Patrick initially because he thought that the apprentice will take over the things but Andy was not that kind of a person. Though Patrick develops feelings for Andy but he thinks that he cannot risk everything for the sake of love.

Andy on the other hand was also attracted towards her boss and she too was not ready to take a big risk with her profession. Love just exploded in Underneath It All and Hard Pressed but here it takes a little time. Though the listeners can get the hint of love through the narration of Christine Fox and Lucy Rivers but it becomes clear towards the middle. Kate Canterbary makes the no mistake in writing this love tale with some history elements attached.
