Steven Crossley did the narration of To Say Nothing of the Dog novel. It was a fine performance and you will not find anything distracting enough to stop continuing with the story.

A good number of jumps back to the 1940 era left Ned Henry, the 21st century Oxford history student exhausted. That was the time and the situation when a good and a much-needed relaxing trip to Victorian England seemed to be the way forward or the best possible solution. However, there were still a few complexities there. Those were related to the missing cats, recalcitrant rowboats, and the love at first sight which made the relaxing holiday of Ned anything but a restful one.

This will be one of the best historical science fiction stories that you will ever come across. The characters in the story are stunningly written. The story will make the listeners envision themselves as the main character. The narration also helped in that regard. The humor in the book is really good and that is where the narrator, Steven Crossley impressed listeners a lot with his great comedic timing. The book proves yet again why Connie Willis is one of the most skillful writers of science fiction today.
