Arliss Cutter has stopped the evildoers on some occasions and he is the best one for the job in Alaska. The cruel weather has always hindered the way of investigation but Cutter and Lola have reached the real criminal on all occasions.
This time the police are searching for a serial killer who happens to be a real psychopath. A foot has been found, buried deep in snow and Lola goes for the investigation on his own. Meanwhile, the police catch a man who attacks a woman and it is thought that the man who is caught, happens to be the serial killer. Cutter didn’t agree to all that but he was busy taking care of the three criminals who were charged with cases of kidnapping and drug trafficking.
The prisoners were to be sent to Anchorage by plane and Cutter wasn’t worried because it was a nonstop flight and nothing can go wrong in such cases. On the way, the plane is forced to land near a thick forest because of the storm and the criminals kill the pilot and the guard for their escape.
All the three criminals escape into the forest and at this time Lola finds out that the foot that was found belonged to a girl and the killer is one of the escaped prisoners. Cutter and Lola are well aware that they cannot allow the criminal to roam free so they go to the notorious forest which is loaded with wild animals too. Marc Cameron amazed us in Stone Cross and Bone Rattle here he mesmerizes all of us. The depiction of the cold weather and the journey into the wilderness is all so captivating that we cannot ignore it.
