Dead and Gone: Sookie Stackhouse Southern Vampire Mystery #9

Sookie came to the strange place long ago for the sake of a job and then she found out that the place was not for humans. Creatures of all kinds visit the place and being an ordinary human makes you vulnerable to dangers. Leaving the job was still not on her option list and she thought that being a waitress in a place like this would not be that much threatening after all no one is going to eat her, well that was purely her personal opinion. Then the mystery series by Charlaine Harris started in which Sookie Stackhouse saved both worlds on many occasions. Threats are building up again as Sookie prepares herself for the role of a cocktail waitress. Were animals are coming to the world again which is not good news even for the world of vampires. This bad news was ample for Sookie and then she was told about the inhuman beings that have a long-buried history.

Being a human in such a situation is the biggest threat for the waitress but she thinks she has seen worse in the past. The time has come to act again rather than wasting time in serving cocktails. Johanna Parker does not give a warrior tone to Sookie because professional she is a waitress but she acts like a true warrior. Fasten your seatbelts Dead Until Dark and Living Dead in Dallas type of thing has returned to literature once again in the form of this book. Strange creatures are introduced in this series which were not there even in Homer’s time. All of this is the raw creation of the author’s imagination alone.
